The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties recently awarded The Landmarks Society of Greater Utica a grant in the amount of $125,000 from the Rosamond G. Childs Fund, the Bull Family Fund and the Ted & Melva Max Family Fund. This grant facilitated the purchase of Nos. 1 and 3 Rutger Park. Michael Bosak, president of the Landmarks Society Board of Trustees, gave Community Foundation trustees and friends a tour of the properties and discussed their history and significance.
