For $1300 per year, Utica Zoo's sea lions, Munchkin and Porter, could have the necessary salt tablets they need to remain at optimal health, used as a supplement in the fresh water exhibit! Or for about half that investment, approximately $600, the vitamins that insure the sea lions are replenished with the nutrients they may not be receiving with the frozen fish they are fed several times a day could be supplied. The majority of the animals at the Utica Zoo eat sweet potatoes and carrots as an important staple in their diet. For approximately $500 per year, these delicious vegetables could be supplied to the animals living here in Utica.
If you are already heading to Nola's to order some of their famous Lobster Macaroni & Cheese be sure to check out the newly displayed art work there! Kirkland Art Center has just launched a partnership with the restaurant in Clinton in order to support local artists.
Spring Farm Cares Nature Sanctuary is dedicated to rehabilitating our surrounding environment with species of plants and trees to keep native birds, butterflies and animals here. They work to educate students at surrounding schools by providing presentations or taking the children on field trips at the Nature Sanctuary.
