The Legacy Society
To honor and recognize donors who have included The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties, Inc. in their estate plans or have set up a deferred gift, we have established a special society. Society members receive recognition in our publications and are distinguished guests at donor events. They also have opportunities to make site visits and learn firsthand what our grants are doing for the community.
The Foundation invites you to join this circle of caring people who have made a commitment to the future of the Foundation. Please contact us if, for example, you have:

named the Foundation in your Will to start a fund for children;

purchased a life insurance policy with the Foundation as a beneficiary;

set up a trust to help pay a grandson’s college bills for 4 years and the remainder will come to the Foundation for scholarships.
If you prefer anonymity, we will respect your preference in our publications, but would still appreciate hearing from you, so you can participate in Foundation events as you wish. The Foundation gratefully acknowledges your generosity and foresight. Your gift will have an impact on the community for generations to come.
