THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF HERKIMER & ONEIDA COUNTIES, INC. WELCOMES LAUZON

 

 

The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Gilles G. Lauzon, CPA as Director of Finance.

 

Lauzon joins The Foundation with 18 years of experience in nonprofit accounting and reporting. Most recently, he was controller for Presbyterian Homes & Services in New Hartford and has previously held finance positions at Hamilton College, Syracuse Research Corporation and Cooper & Lybrand, CPAs. Peggy O’Shea, president and CEO of The Community Foundation, said, “We are very pleased that Gilles has joined The Foundation’s team. His experience and professionalism will be invaluable in guiding our work in Herkimer and Oneida counties.”

 

Lauzon grew up in the Finger Lakes region and earned his B.P.S. in business and public management from SUNYIT, as well as an M.S. in accounting from Syracuse University. He belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPAs.

 

Gilles Lauzon resides in New Hartford with his wife and two sons.
